About Speak Up Speech Pathology
Speak Up Speech Pathology provides assessment and therapy services for children with communication difficulties.
The clinic is run by Certified Practising Speech Pathologist, Samantha Maling. Sam graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science (Speech and Hearing) in 2002. She has worked in a variety of clinical, school and community settings with children and adolescents between the ages of 12 months to 18 years.
Sam loves her job and admits that at times it's far to much fun to be real work! But behind the play is very serious work indeed and the prevention of long term communication, literacy and /or social difficulties is always at the forefront of the therapy process.
Families are integral to their child's success and Sam takes her cues regarding goal setting for children from their families. She also keeps her professional development up to date in order to provide relevant and evidence based therapy and advice.
If you have concerns regarding your child's spoken or written communication please don't hesitate to give Speak Up a call on 0437 719 813.
Located in Mundaring, the Speak Up speech pathology clinic operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
